  • Ski Winbush

    SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

My name is Ski Winbush, and I’ve been working with kids in camp and classroom settings for over four years. I started as a camp counselor where I led group activities, kept campers safe, and helped make sure everyone had the best summer ever. Now, I work as a substitute teacher, where I get to bring that same energy and creativity into the classroom. I love creating fun, inclusive spaces where kids feel supported, seen, and free to be themselves. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Art Studio from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and I enjoy using my creative background to make every activity engaging and meaningful.

  • Ronise Doss

    SUBSTITUE TEACHER

Ms. Doss is an arts educator from the Southside of Chicago. She is a mixed media artist and printmaker. She started her art journey as a child as she painted on clothes and shoes. Those talents later lead her to take various studio art courses while in college. She loves working with the youth and giving them the freedom to express themselves through art.

  • Tonya McClain

Diverse Learner Teacher and Case Manager, CPS. Doctoral Candidate, University of Phoenix, Educational Leadership, 2026

Hello, my name is Tonya McClain. I attended National Louis University and received my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology, which gave me the necessary skills needed to work as a therapist serving children who are in the foster care system. In this role, in addition to working closely with the families, I was also able to work within the school system giving me more opportunities to work with students.

Because of my passion for working with students, I went back to school to receive a second Masters of Arts in Teaching including a LBS1 special education endorsement from Relay Graduate School of Education. I am currently a Diverse Learner Teacher at Chicago Public Schools serving primary students in kindergarten to second grade. Prior to this I worked in the same role at KIPP One Charter School serving middle school students in 5th  and 6th  grade, and as a Learning Specialist at Noble Network of Charter Schools serving high school students in 9-12th  grade. My special area of concentration is English Language Arts. Because I prioritize the future of our kids, I am a current Doctoral Candidate at the University of Phoenix pursuing a degree in Educational Leadership. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, decorating my home, and writing/publishing my first children’s book.
